Golf Clubs Are a Personal Choice
Completing your set of golf clubs can truly be a difficult choice indeed, but if you get past it, you have better chances of winning—that is of course, if you’ve chosen well! Some golfers indiscriminately stuff their golf bag with an assortment of tools.
You could just imagine how these guys’ garage looks!
This doesn’t mean of course that these types are disorganized and will be lousy at the game. It’s largely a matter of personal habit so that even when you see disorganization in another person’s choice of golf club sets, there might be some rules of logic you just can’t spell yet.
Anyhow, assembling your first golf club set can be fun if you have the right attitude and the right budget.
First things first, and start with the easier stuff. You need to get three different wedges in there that bag—it’s insurance against unexpected terrain trouble and a chance to lower your score many times over. Never be pretentious about your choice of the candidates for your golf set. By that we mean, stop trying to copy others.
Make sure your choices are entirely your own, seriously considering your personal taste and preference—most importantly, your brand of game strategy. Stop living up to the Joneses, you are lessening your chances of winning that way!
Also make sure you stuff your golf bag with items you can afford. One rule of thumb is, buying an entire golf club set can save you money, as opposed to buying one item at a time. Do this if you can, but don’t ever force it. The effect can be disastrous to your game.
Your golf clubs are not just your bag of tricks; they're also your weaponry, your arsenal of game strategy.
